
Tari Walker, CNS
Clinical Nurse Specialist
Tari joined DCND in 2016 as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. She graduated from Sinclair Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing in June of 2000 and started her nursing career as a bedside nurse on the Neuroscience Unit at Miami Valley Hospital.
During that time, she went back to obtain her BSN through Indiana Wesleyan University and graduated in May of 2010. After that, she pursued a graduate degree at Wright State University for their Adult Gerontological Clinical Nurse Specialist Program. She graduated in 2016.
While in school she was the Stroke Program Manager at Atrium Medical Center and the former Good Samaritan Hospital. She is a board-certified Adult-Gerontological Clinical Nurse Specialist with the Ohio Board of Nursing. She is also certified through the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing as a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse.
Tari is a member of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses.
She’s married and has two children. Tari enjoy watching her children play soccer, camping, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
