
Ryan Maenpa, MD
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Dr. Maenpa has been a physiatrist with DCND since 2006. He has helped people with neurological conditions live better lives from the start of his career through rehabilitation & physical medicine. He has a special interest in electrodiagnostic studies (EMG) because it can give patients real-time information about what is going on. Dr. Maenpa has presented several papers locally and nationally involving traumatic brain injuries, brachial plexus injuries, plantar fasciitis and myopathies. He is also a big advocate for the amputee community and works closely with leaders in the industry. Dr. Maenpa is married with one son. In his free time, he enjoys coaching, woodworking and gardening.
