DCND is partnering with the American Institute of Balance.

DCND is offering a new service for those patients expierencing dizziness, imbalance, or vertigo. The American Institute of Balance will be operating out of the Beavercreek office offering patients balance evaluations and rehabilitation plans.

This service starts with a referral from a neurologist for neurodiagnostic testing. This non-invasive test is usually completed within 90 minutes.  It evaluates all aspects of equilibrium function and the results help indicate which therapy would be best for the patient's individual situation.

The most common kinds of therapy include: home-based exercises, balance retraining, vestibular rehabilitation, or Canalith repositioning.
