Amy Ross, APRN-CNP

Amy Ross joined Dayton Center for Neurological Disorders in 2022 as a Nurse Practitioner.

After moving to Dayton in 2006, she decided to start her career in nursing and attended Sinclair Community College. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Ohio University and her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Simmons College in Boston, MA. 

Nursing was a natural step for Ross as she has always loved to provide care and support for those around her. While in nursing school, she worked as an aide on a neurology floor and fell in love with the specialty. She continued working in neurology after she graduated until transitioning into critical care. Once she became a Nurse Practitioner she mostly worked in neurosurgery and palliative care. She has always had a desire to return to neurology and is thrilled to join the team at DCND! 

In her free time, Ross enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as traveling.
