Kirsten joined Dayton Center for Neurological Disorders in October of 2016. She began her education at Wright State University in Dayton, OH and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Sciences in Psychology and a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience. While in school she worked as a research assistant in the Behavioral Neuroscience department. She also worked as a state tested nurse aide in transitional care, fostering a love for people and an interest in medicine. Kirsten moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL to pursue higher education at Nova Southeastern University. It was from NSU that she graduated with her Master of Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies in 2016.
Kirsten is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants as well as the Ohio Medical Board. She is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Neurology
Kirsten is an avid reader, enjoys outdoor activities, and loves to train and compete in dog sports with her three dogs.
